The "I Can't Eat This" List

When you first start keto you have no idea what you can/cannot have. The more you research and look at food labels you realize that EVERYTHING has something bad in it. Chemicals are all around you. And I was stunned at how much sugar was in everything.
So I did my research, watched videos, read message boards and learned what I had to avoid on food labels. Here is a quick punch list of things to watch out for.

AVOID SUGAR

AVOID CHEMICALS AND NATURAL SUGARS!

AVOID ALL STARCHES!

GET RID OF YOUR DIET DRINKS!

FATS TO AVOID

Looks like a lot - I know! Its hard at first. I threw everything away in my fridge/pantry. Left no room for error. I lost money - but in the end I am successful!
Rule of thumb I follow!
Stick to olive oils, avocado oils (cheaper at Walmart!), unrefined coconut oil (unrefined doesn't taste like coconut) and real butter
Stick to Stevia and sugar alcohols like Erythritol (its in the low carb ice creams and sugar free candy)
You can have a diet coke or crystal lite every now and then but try to limit - those chemical sugars (splenda, etc) make you retain and do not help in losing weight.
I can't help you with the starches. Say goodbye and watch the scale go down.
